Thanks Eric Posted on Sunday, Febru06:09 pm: Eric, Just went to Cimatron site (They claim to accept IGES - VDA - SAT - STEP - STL datas and in native formats CATIA - UG - AutoCad DWG - PRO-E neutral files. ![]() I have been trying exports using SAT files version 2.0 and IGES B-rep solids to no avail. I am appealing to the forum at this point in hopes that someone here has some experience with Cimatron IT ver 13.1 exports or some suggestions. I have made tech support aware of my needs and they have made some suggestions. My wheel is not a solid, it will end up as one stitched surface, I hope. I am modeling in smooth objects in the hopes that it will improve my chances even though it is much more difficult to model. So this time I have started to do some test before the project is finished in hopes of once and for all figuring this export out. The data always has to be recreated usually from sections, this is not an option this time. ![]() In the past I have had much difficulties exporting form-z files to this vendor. I am almost finished my modeling and and will be exporting my geometry to my designated vendor who uses Cimatron IT ver 13.1.
